The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has decided to establish special conditions for the use of land around the new football stadium being built in the Lenin district of Bishkek (formerly known as Orok). This resolution is aimed at ensuring the safety of this strategically important facility.

A ban on the design, construction, and reconstruction of any buildings taller than 20 meters, which is approximately three stories, has been introduced within a 500-meter radius of the stadium.

This ban applies to all types of facilities, except for those listed in the annex to the resolution.

The government emphasizes that this measure is intended to create a safe zone around the stadium and prevent violations in the operation of this important sports facility.

Control over the implementation of this decision has been entrusted to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Communal Services, as well as to the Bishkek city administration, which are tasked with taking the necessary measures within their authority.

The resolution will come into effect in seven days.
