In the Talas region, the pawnshop "Orozaly" voluntarily returned property to citizens that had been wrongfully seized. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
During joint activities of the SCNS with the Talas City State Tax Service, the National Bank for the Talas Region, and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, violations of legislation by the pawnshop were discovered, which prompted its management to acknowledge the validity of the claims made.
In particular, a residential house located in the Talas district was returned to the former owner S.U.U., and documents for real estate that had previously been pledged were returned to ten citizens.
Furthermore, the management of the pawnshop expressed its willingness to compensate borrowers for excessively charged interest exceeding 30% per annum, from the summer of 2024 to the present time. Citizens can contact for resolution of issues in the established manner.
The organization apologized to all affected individuals and assured that in the future it will operate strictly within the framework of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
