The Bishkek city administration reported that plans are in place to organize the space around the Ayu Grand shopping center and create a municipal parking lot. The decision was made at the direction of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, who on February 24 instructed the director of the Municipal Enterprise "City Road and Transport Infrastructure," Bakai Asylbek uulu, to go to the site and address the situation in the parking area on Isakeyeva Street.
During the inspection, protocols were drawn up against the owners of vehicles parked in prohibited areas, as well as those occupying spaces designated for doctors, patients, and students. Offenders whose cars had been parked for an extended period were towed to a penalty lot.
This area was previously used as a temporary parking lot, but it will now function as a municipal one.
The new parking lot is designed for 100 spaces and will operate daily from 08:00 to 20:00 as a paid service. Employees of the Municipal Enterprise "City Road and Transport Infrastructure" will ensure duty at the site and conduct explanatory work.
Additionally, parking without state registration plates is not permitted. In case of violations, appropriate measures will be taken.
