According to the government decree, in Kyrgyzstan, school uniforms must adhere to a classic style. This was reported by the Ministry of Education.
The document states that the requirements for uniforms take into account the climatic conditions and temperature regime in educational institutions. These rules were developed with the participation of parents, students, and experts.
For boys, the uniform includes: a shirt, vest, trousers, and jacket in solid colors such as black, gray, dark blue, and burgundy. Girls are suggested to wear a blouse, vest, skirt, trousers, dress, apron, and jacket made of solid color fabric or plaid. Light colors are permissible for shirts, as indicated in the message.
The Ministry also reminded that forcing families from socially vulnerable groups to purchase uniforms of a specific style is unlawful. An option of "light top - dark bottom" is possible.
According to the agency, the classic style contributes to the formation of discipline and reduces social differences among students.
