According to Aliyev, an assessment of the structural integrity is needed. The bridge is already built, but some minor finishing works remain. He noted that after the completion of the work, a waiting period of 28 days will be required before the bridge can be opened for traffic. "This Friday we will conduct the necessary measurements, after which we will announce the exact opening date," the vice mayor added.
He also reminded that construction began on October 1, 2025. Currently, it is necessary to complete the asphalting of the road adjacent to the bridge; however, this work has been suspended due to unfavorable weather conditions.
It is worth noting that the temporary closure of the bridge is causing traffic jams in the area. The exact opening date will be known after all necessary measurements are completed.
