Many local residents express dissatisfaction regarding the destruction of young and healthy trees.
“On Shamsin Street, near the ‘Danchik’ store, strong pines were cut down, not poplars. We also remember how trees were cut down near the bus station, where they promised to create a park, but that never happened,” say the townspeople.
Some residents speculate that the tree cutting is related to plans to widen the road from Pioneer Street to Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Street.
So far, the city administration has not provided an official comment on this issue.
