In Kara-Balta, the public transport route "Kara-Balta — Sary-Bulak" is at risk of closure.
This alarming information was announced by the transportation company that handles passenger transport in the city and the Jayil district.
According to representatives of this organization, the section of the road near the "Bakay-Inpak" enterprise is in unsatisfactory condition. The road is severely damaged and covered with potholes, making it difficult for public transport to operate.
This route daily transports residents of the villages of Sary-Bulak and Monoldor, as well as passengers heading to the city cemetery and the "Yuzhny" and "Gornyak" dacha areas. The carrier notes that they provide transportation for schoolchildren and local workers. One driver makes up to three trips a day.
"Since March, the driver has stopped operating on the route due to the condition of the road. It is very difficult and dangerous to drive there. The driver's vehicle often breaks down. We have contacted MP 'DSU', MP 'Universal', the mayor's office, but so far we have only received verbal promises. We are being asked to wait," reported the company "Absolute Auto".
Previously, the carrier was forced to cancel one of the trips for two days, which led to numerous complaints from the public. In particular, parents complained that schoolchildren were unable to reach the olympiads held at schools No. 10 and No. 12 on time.
The company emphasizes that they do not know how they will maintain the route under such conditions. If the service is completely halted, several settlements and dacha areas may be left without access to public transport.
