In Bishkek, fire victims were presented with insurance certificates worth 8 million soms















In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, an event took place where the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, and the director of the local branch of the state insurance company, Alima Nurlanova, presented certificates to citizens whose apartments were affected by a recent fire.

According to the information, eight residents of the city received compensation, with each being issued 1 million soms, totaling 8 million soms.

In his address, the mayor emphasized the importance of property insurance and wished the residents health and well-being.

He noted that natural disasters come unexpectedly and reminded that the fire affected 68 apartments, but only eight of them were insured with the State Insurance Organization. "Our goal is to achieve 100% property insurance and to urge all residents to do so," he added.

The city administration also took measures and provided financial assistance to another 22 affected apartments.

It is worth reminding that on November 15, 2025, a fire occurred in a three-story residential building on Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, covering an area of about 800 square meters.
