Kim Jong Un, the leader of the DPRK, stated: “Our party is determined to continue expanding and strengthening the national nuclear energy, fully utilizing the status of a nuclear state. We will focus on increasing our stockpile of nuclear weapons and expanding nuclear capabilities.”
Additionally, he noted that as part of these plans, North Korea will develop more powerful intercontinental ballistic missiles, including submarine systems, as well as technologies utilizing artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial vehicles, and types of weapons capable of striking satellites.
Previously, Kim Jong Un appointed his 13-year-old daughter, Kim Ju Ae, as a likely successor and overseer of the country's missile program.
