The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed about the situation of Kyrgyz citizens in the countries of the Persian Gulf

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic currently reports that among the citizens of the country in the Persian Gulf states, no one has been harmed. This was stated by Seitak Jumakadyrov, the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He added that consular staff are actively interacting with hotels to prevent the eviction of Kyrgyz citizens. The situation in Abu Dhabi is stable, and there are not many Kyrgyz citizens there, so there are no problems with eviction.

"Currently, about 800 Kyrgyz citizens are stuck in Qatar, and approximately 1000 in the United Arab Emirates," he explained.
Seitak Jumakadyrov also emphasized that the consuls in Dubai are working even at night to quickly resolve emerging issues. In Saudi Arabia, most Kyrgyz citizens are pilgrims who have arrived to perform Umrah.

At the moment, the main difficulties are observed only in Dubai and Qatar.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly recommends that citizens follow official recommendations and maintain contact with consular services.
