As part of the initiative to implement environmentally friendly transport, the Republic of Korea has transferred 10 Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicles to the state agencies of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, this step is the first phase of a joint project between the ministry and the Korean agency KOICA.
In the future, there are plans to update the vehicle fleet of OJSC "Kyrgyz Post" and create infrastructure for charging electric vehicles in government institutions.
