A specialist from the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration, Nurgul Usenova, provided details about the proposed changes in an interview with 24.kg.
Essentially, the new draft resolution plans to exclude the average monthly salary of 2012 from the calculation base. Instead, fixed benefit amounts will be introduced, which will be determined based on a calculation indicator that currently stands at 100 soms.

It should be noted that this resolution does not affect funeral benefits paid by the Social Fund. The amounts paid in the event of a pensioner's death will remain unchanged.
Nurgul Usenova also clarified that if the project is approved, the new changes will come into effect on January 1, 2028.
