According to the press service, verification of all data is currently underway to form ranking indicators.
Official results will be published only after all checks are completed and approved on the government portal. The ministry noted that the selection is conducted in strict accordance with established rules, ensuring transparency, objectivity, and equal opportunities for all participants.
“The final ranking is formed by adding the average value of the educational document and the English language proficiency indicator. At this moment, the official results have not yet been approved or published. They will be sent to the Hungarian side only after final approval,” the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations explained.

It should be noted that the Kyrgyz side recommends a preliminary list of candidates, while the final decision on granting scholarships and enrollment is made by the Hungarian side.
Officials urge participants in the competition to be patient and wait for the official results.
Earlier, readers of 24.kg reported serious questions arising among applicants regarding the national selection for the Stipendium Hungaricum program in 2026.
They stated that, unlike previous years, this year the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovations did not publish a general list of recommended candidates. Instead, decisions were sent to each applicant individually, which excludes the public posting of the final list.
This approach, according to the applicants, significantly reduces the transparency of the process, as:
- there is no public oversight;
- it is impossible to compare competitive results;
- there is no information on scoring criteria and evaluation systems;
- candidates did not receive official explanations for the reasons for rejection.
According to their data, among those who did not pass the selection, there are applicants with high academic performance (high GPA, IELTS results, achievements in Olympiads and competitions).
