Kyrgyz citizens complain about the competitive selection for universities in Hungary
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan are expressing dissatisfaction with the competitive selection for the Stipendium Hungaricum programs for universities in Hungary.

Users on the Threads platform report that this year, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation organized the national selection stage.

“Many students with high academic results were rejected from the unified list without any explanations, as well as without published scores and clear criteria. The ministry staff do not respond to candidates' inquiries,” shares a user with the nickname akito_nomad.

Kimmiila added that the lists of those who passed were not published, and the reasons for the rejections remain unclear.

Contestants are concerned about the request for transparency in the process and obtaining official clarifications.

Users are reaching out for support from deputies Dastan Bekeshev, Elvira Surabaldiyeva, and Bolot Ibragimov.

The press service of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation promised 24.kg to provide a comment on the situation later.

It should be noted that for the academic years 2025-2027, the Hungarian side will provide 200 quotas, distributed as follows:
