According to the press service of the State Penitentiary Service, special programs were prepared for the prisoners and students during the celebration, which included reports on the significance of the Ak Kalpak, poetry readings, and performances of national songs. Concert numbers and musical performances on the komuz created a festive atmosphere, highlighting the cultural values of the people.
The sports part of the event was also rich: competitions were held in various sports, both traditional and classical. Participants competed in table tennis, kettlebell lifting, as well as in games such as tayak-tartish, arkan-tartish, ordo, and chess, including toguz korgool.
The department noted that such events contribute to strengthening respect for national traditions, help preserve cultural heritage, and promote spiritual development, as well as the successful resocialization of prisoners.
