Korea to allocate $10 million for the upgrade of the water supply system in the city of Osh

Today in the city of Osh, Mayor Janarbek Akayev met with representatives of the Korean corporation K-water, known in the field of water resource management. This was reported by the local municipality.

During the conversation, issues related to the implementation of a project for intelligent management of water supply systems were discussed. The total amount allocated for the project is $10 million, and these funds will be provided as a non-repayable grant.

The project includes the modernization of the Ozgur purification station and the transition to digital and "smart" technologies in managing the urban water supply system. Aspects of improving the qualifications of specialists, enhancing the organizational and operational capabilities of the institution, as well as updating infrastructure were also considered. The parties confirmed their intention for the joint effective implementation of the project and long-term cooperation, as stated in the announcement.



This initiative aims to improve water supply in Osh, rational use of resources, and enhance the quality of services for local residents.
