This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
According to the information, the head of the city inspected the construction sites on the station's territory, familiarized himself with the ongoing work on-site, and emphasized the need to pay special attention to the quality of construction. He also instructed the responsible specialists to strictly adhere to safety requirements and complete the repair work within the established deadlines.
Mayor: “What happened inside here? Did you remove everything that was rotten and destroyed inside?”
Director of MP “Oshgorvodokanal” Talant Baikishiev: “Everything has been taken out.”
Mayor: “When we come back — you will show me.”
Talant Baikishiev: “Yes.”
Mayor: “So… this is already finished, right?”
Talant Baikishiev: “The facade and the front part are finished, and this side is also ready.”
Mayor: “What will you do with the roof on top?”
Talant Baikishiev: “We will pour a 5 cm thick 'standing' layer on the roof, then mix it with 'liquid glass' and make a roofing felt covering (waterproofing).”
Mayor: “Now it looks like something. Now it looks like a repair... 40 years of everything rotting and falling apart…”
Talant Baikishiev: “50 years.”
Mayor: “So, for 50 years — no one has really looked at it. Now water should not leak from above, understood?”
Talant Baikishiev: “Yes.”
Mayor: “How many teams are working in total?”
Talant Baikishiev: “There are 5 teams working on the facade.”
Mayor: “These trees need to be trimmed. Talk to the landscaping service — let them come and trim them.”
Talant Baikishiev: “Okay.”
