According to the draft of a new government decree, which has been presented for discussion, the following conditions are proposed:
- Applicants who took 1st to 3rd places in the regional school Olympiad this year may be admitted without competition to grant places in specialties corresponding to the subject of the Olympiad, provided they successfully pass the nationwide testing and achieve scores not lower than the threshold level;
- If several applicants have the same scores, preference will be given to those who took 1st to 3rd places in regional competitions this year. A list of such competitions will be determined by the Ministry of Education;
- Prize-winners of international, republican, and regional Olympiads who took 1st to 3rd places this year may also be admitted without competition to places under a contract with payment of tuition fees, provided they have positive scores and have chosen fields corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad. This also applies to prize-winners of regional school competitions who took 1st to 3rd places in specialties corresponding to the nomination of the competition, provided they participate in the ORT and achieve the necessary scores. A list of regional competitions will be established by the Ministry of Education.
