Present at this event were Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev, heads of city institutions and enterprises, as well as outstanding women who have made significant contributions to the development of the city and public life, including heroic mothers.
Speaking to those gathered, the mayor emphasized the important role of women in society, noting that their work both at home and for the benefit of the city is invaluable. Several participants in the celebration were awarded for their achievements and dedication to their work.
The concert program prepared by the creative team of the Energetik House of Culture concluded the festive part of the event.
As part of the celebration, attention was also given to veterans and centenarians. Deputy Mayor Manas Abdykalykov, along with representatives of the city’s labor and social welfare department, visited the homes of mothers who are 90 years old and older.
Additionally, in honor of International Women's Day, the city budget allocated 260,000 soms, which were transferred to the accounts of 260 women. Among the recipients were:
- Heroic mothers;
- Widows of participants in the Great Patriotic War;
- Women over 90 years old;
- Outstanding workers from various city institutions.
