On March 10, the northern side of the bridge located on Jibek Jolu Avenue is expected to open in Bishkek. This was reported by the press service of the capital's city hall.
The width of the bridge before the reconstruction was 9 meters, but after the upgrade, it has increased to 13 meters.
The opening of one side of the bridge is related to the worsening weather conditions and is aimed at the convenience of the city's residents. Traffic will be organized on this side, while the launch of the second side of the bridge is scheduled for the end of March.
Currently, work on the complete reconstruction of the bridge is ongoing by the relevant services.
