In Batken Region, the energy system will be updated

Work has begun in the Batken region to repair and modernize energy equipment, aimed at preparing for the autumn-winter season of 2026-2027. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

This year, a number of major events are planned in the region aimed at improving the state of the power grids and ensuring stable electricity supply for consumers.

Regarding the 6-10/0.4 kV transformers:

- Major repairs will be carried out on 284 transformers;

- Technical maintenance will cover 1632 transformers.

For the 6-10/0.4 kV overhead lines:

- 1538 km of overhead lines will undergo major repairs;

- 3847 km of overhead lines are scheduled for technical maintenance.

As for the high-voltage overhead lines of 220/110/35 kV:

- It is planned to survey 1400 km of overhead lines, of which: 20 km will undergo major repairs, and 1380 km will receive current scheduled maintenance. Additionally, 8772 new glass insulators will be installed.

For the 220/110/35 kV substations:

- 45 substations will undergo scheduled current maintenance;

- 5 substations will undergo major repairs.

Furthermore, in the Batken region, the installation of 54,587 units of intelligent metering devices (AMR) is planned. In some settlements, 32 km of self-supporting insulated wires SIP-2 and SIP-3 will also be laid.

As emphasized by the department, the main goal of these works is to increase the reliability of the power grids, reduce technical losses, and provide consumers with quality and stable electricity supply.
