For the year 2026, the Talas electric grid enterprise has planned a series of measures aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply and preparing for the winter season. In particular, the plans include increasing the capacity of 32 transformers and installing 10 new devices, as reported by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the installation of new transformers in the Talas region, the following distribution is planned:
* 1 transformer in the Talas district;
* 2 in the Bakai-Ata district;
* 5 in the Manas district;
* 2 in the Aitmatov district.
It is important to note that in 2025, 9 more transformers were added in this same area.
Considering the growing demand for electricity, an increase in the capacity of 32 transformers is also planned for 2026, among which:
* 9 in the Bakai-Ata district;
* 4 in the Manas district;
* 7 in the city of Talas;
* 5 in the Talas district;
* 7 in the Aitmatov district.
In 2025, the capacity of 13 transformers was already increased throughout the region.
Additionally, in 2026, as part of the annual capital repair and maintenance of transformers in the region, the following works are planned:
* capital repair of 197 transformers;
* maintenance of 1266 transformers.
These measures are aimed at enhancing the reliability of electrical networks, reducing the number of emergency outages, and ensuring stable and quality electricity supply to the population.
