A substation "T. Kulatov" with a voltage of 35/10 kilovolts and power lines has been put into operation in the Nookat district of the Osh region. This event was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
It has been reported that the new energy facility will serve 1,820 subscribers living in the villages of Abshyr, Kozho-Aryk, Kosh-Dobo, and Baglan. Previously, these settlements depended on the "Abshyr" feeder, which is 55 kilometers long, causing significant energy losses. The opening of the substation has allowed for the unloading of existing networks and improved the reliability of power supply in the region.

Main characteristics of the project:
Power: the facility is equipped with a transformer with a capacity of 2.5 megavolt-amperes.
Communication lines: a 35-kilovolt overhead line has been constructed, 5.6 kilometers long, using self-supporting insulated wires (SIP).
Cost savings: the project was planned for a budget of 25 million soms, but the actual costs amounted to 15 million 415.73 thousand soms. The construction of the substation cost 8 million 218.45 thousand soms, while the lines cost 7 million 197.28 thousand soms.
The Minister of Energy, Talaybek Ibraev, emphasized that the development of infrastructure in the regions is a priority for ensuring reliable electricity supply to the population.
