In 2026, the installation and reconstruction of SIP-2 and SIP-3 cables with a voltage of 10/0.4 kV over a length of 66.36 km will begin in the Naryn region, as reported by the Ministry of Energy.
The reconstruction and installation of new SIP cables will be carried out in the following districts:
- At-Bashinsky district — 14 km
- Ak-Talinsky district — 6.8 km
- Kochkor district — 14.5 km
- Jumgal district — 6.5 km
- Toguz-Toruy district — 7.6 km
- Naryn district — 16.9 km
Funding for this work is provided by the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan JSC, and it is planned to be completed from April to the end of October this year in the Naryn region.
The use of SIP cables significantly improves the reliability of electrical networks. These cables have high resistance to weather phenomena, help reduce electricity losses, decrease the number of emergency outages, and lower operational costs. Additionally, the use of SIP cables enhances safety and makes electricity supply more stable and convenient for residents.
The planned work is aimed at preparing the Naryn electric network enterprise for the autumn-winter season, as well as strengthening the reliability of the power grid and ensuring stable electricity supply for the population.
