The main prize will be 100,000 soms
In Naryn this year, in honor of Nowruz, a republican competition "Best Sumolok" will take place, as reported by the event organizers.
Teams from all districts of the Naryn region will participate in the competition, simultaneously setting up 40 cauldrons to prepare sumolok — the main dish of the holiday.
The winner will receive a prize of 100,000 soms, the second place is awarded 50,000, and the third place will bring 30,000 soms. Each participant will also receive consolation prizes ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 soms.
The preparation of sumolok will begin on March 20 in the "Tian-Shan" park in Naryn and will be accompanied by cultural events and a festive program.
