GNS Implements Monitoring System in the Gold Mining Industry of Kyrgyzstan

Recently, Almambet Shykmamatov, the Chairman of the Tax Service, held an important working meeting with representatives of the Swiss company SICPA SA, which develops technologies for the protection and tracking of goods. This information was announced by the press service of the Tax Service.

During the meeting, attendees included Philippe Amon, the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SICPA SA, as well as Jean-Philippe Godin, the Director of Strategic Development, and other company staff, along with department heads from the Tax Service.



The main focus was on issues of cooperation within the framework of a tracking system for gold extraction and related minerals, which will be adapted to the conditions of Kyrgyzstan. The implementation of this system is expected to streamline the operations of small mines, improve sampling methods, control the supply chain of ore and gold, as well as combat the illegal trade of gold and its derivatives.

Philippe Amon, CEO of SICPA SA, expressed support for the Tax Service's initiative to implement a monitoring system in the gold mining sector and expressed satisfaction with the meeting held.

He also emphasized that the successful implementation of this project would create favorable conditions for future joint projects and expand cooperation, including the possibility of implementing similar technologies for other minerals.
