A case of mass poisoning has been recorded in Bishkek. This information has been confirmed by the Ministry of Health, as reported by Kaktus.media.

In the morning, the first patient—a child with symptoms of poisoning—was admitted to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RKIB). Later, after lunch, another child sought medical attention, and by evening, the number of affected individuals had risen to 17. Of these, 13 were hospitalized, while four received outpatient treatment. Among the victims are four children, while the rest are adults. Their condition is stable, treatment is ongoing, tests have been taken, and the epidemiological investigation is still in progress, the Ministry of Health reported.

It has been preliminarily established that all the affected individuals consumed shawarma at a fast-food establishment called Daamduu.

It is worth noting that this is not the first case of mass poisoning in Bishkek. In June of last year, 20 people sought medical attention with similar symptoms.
