He emphasized that the philharmonic is actively used for hosting numerous domestic and international events, highlighting the need for its renovation.
“This new building should not only serve the functions of a philharmonic but also become a symbol of culture, history, and traditions, as well as represent Kyrgyz heritage,” noted the deputy.
Located at the intersection of Chuy and Manas avenues, the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic was built in 1980. Its facade faces the Bishkek City Hall, and the territory of the philharmonic features a statue of Manas and fountains.
