According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, adopted on September 27, 2025, under number 623, the payment of the monthly allowance "Assistance to Residents of High Mountain Areas" will begin on January 12, 2026. This financial support is intended for families living in high mountain and hard-to-reach regions, as well as in certain border settlements with special conditions, who have a third or subsequent child under three years old.
As of January 12, 2026, the acceptance of applications for this allowance has started, leading to an increase in inquiries at the Karakol City Department of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration.
According to the head of the department, Bilimbek Sagynbaev, 449 applications have been registered to date, and 322 of them have already been entered into the electronic database.
“Currently, six employees are processing the applications. We are accepting documents and providing full consultations to all interested parties. The main condition is the matching registration, actual place of residence, and registration of all family members,” he noted.
To apply for the allowance, the following documents must be provided:
- copies of parents' passports;
- copies of children's birth certificates;
- a copy of the marriage certificate;
- a bank account in one of the two state banks;
- a family composition certificate from the "Tündük" system.
