
The exhibition highlights how landscape is represented in the works of artists whose pieces are stored in the museum's collection, starting from 1940 and continuing up to the period of Kyrgyzstan's independence.

“We have divided the presented works into five thematic groups to show how the perception of landscape by Kyrgyz artists has changed over different historical periods and contexts. Along with the paintings and graphics from the museum's funds, works by contemporary authors will also be included,” the official statement says.
In addition to paintings and graphic works, the exhibition will also showcase photographic materials and video works that focus on the consequences of urbanization and industrialization, emphasizing the damage caused to the environment.
