Among the injured is a minor
On January 23, 2026, a traffic accident occurred on the 36th kilometer of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart highway in the Issyk-Ata district of the Chuy region, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to preliminary data, the driver of a Hyundai Solaris lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and collided with a tree. As a result of the collision, one woman's life was lost, and two women and one girl sustained injuries of varying severity.
Rescuers from the district department No. 4 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene, extracting the injured and the body of the deceased from the vehicle and handing them over to the ambulance team. Currently, work is underway to establish the identities of the participants in the accident and to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
