This is an increase of 18.6% compared to 2024.
According to the data from the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan, in 2025, the country was visited by 20 million 978 thousand 965 foreign citizens.
Comparing with the previous year shows a growth of 18.6%, indicating an increased interest in Kyrgyzstan from tourists, travelers, and businessmen.
The statistics for visits are as follows:
• 2023 — 17,480,097 people;
• 2024 — 17,682,929 people (an increase of 1.2%);
• 2025 — 20,978,965 people (+18.6% compared to 2024).
Overall, in 2025, 37 million 50 thousand 223 people and 3 million 260 thousand 642 vehicles crossed the border of Kyrgyzstan.
Despite the increase in the number of visits, border protection measures were strengthened. Last year, 28,593 people with invalid documents were identified, and 28,006 citizens were denied entry across the border.
