The Mayor of Bishkek met with residents of recently annexed territories

An open meeting of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev with residents of the city's new districts took place at Secondary School No. 43 in Ak-Bata. This event was organized for residents of areas that have recently become part of the Sverdlovsk district, according to information from the mayor's office press service.

Residents from residential areas such as MTF-2, Nur-Kojo, Ak-Bata, Ak-Zhar, Lebedinovka, Alamudun, Lower Ala-Archa, and 305-MAB participated in the discussion.

The main focus of the meeting was on issues related to water supply, sewage, road conditions, and the lack of public transport. Ulanbek Beyshenbaev, head of the Transport Department, reported that new 8-meter buses will be put into operation only after all road infrastructure repair work is completed, as stated in the announcement.

Furthermore, the mayor emphasized that road repair work will not be carried out until the issues with water supply and sewage are fully resolved. He also discussed the development program for the newly annexed areas, developed at the President's request, which is planned until 2030. The total budget for the program is about 9 billion soms, of which 2.5 to 3 billion soms will already be attracted by 2025.

During the meeting, issues regarding land plots were also discussed. Aibek Junushaliev noted that during the road construction process, illegally located economic objects and new foundations will be dismantled. However, the demolition of previously identified illegal residential houses is not planned, as reported by the press service.
