Recently, in the new secondary school No. 43, located in the residential area of "Ak-Bata," the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, held a meeting with local residents from the newly joined districts of the city. The press service of the mayor's office reported this event.
Residents from residential areas such as "MTF-2," "Nurkhojo-Ata," "Ak-Bata," "Ak-Zhar," "Lebedinovka," "Alamudun," "Lower Ala-Archa," and "305-MAB," which became part of the Sverdlovsk district as a result of the administrative-territorial reform, attended the meeting.
During the discussion, important social and infrastructure issues were addressed, including water supply, road conditions, sewage systems, and the lack of public transport.
Regarding the transportation situation, Ulanbek Beyshenbaev, head of the transport department, reported that new eight-meter buses would only start operating after the repair and restoration of roads are completed.
The mayor noted that road repairs would not be carried out until the issues with water supply and sewage systems are resolved. He also added that, in accordance with the president's directive, a special Development Program for the new districts until 2030 has been developed.
The total budget of the program is approximately 9 billion soms, of which about 2.5-3 billion soms have already been allocated this year for its implementation.
Additionally, during the discussion, questions regarding land plots arose. Aibek Junushaliev stated that during the road construction process, the mayor's office would remove illegally placed economic objects and new buildings; however, the demolition of previously identified illegal residential houses is not planned.
The mayor also emphasized that illegal construction should not be allowed in the future.
As a result of the meeting, the mayor instructed the responsible services and departments to take concrete measures for the prompt and quality resolution of the raised issues, establishing clear deadlines for implementation.
