The Mayor of Bishkek traveled around the city: residents' appeals, social facilities, and streets
The Mayor of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Aibek Junushaliev, conducted an inspection tour of various districts of the city, during which he met with local residents and familiarized himself with the condition of social facilities. This information was provided by the municipality.

The first stop on the route was a section on Buurdinskaya Street, where the mayor held a conversation with residents. As a result of the discussion, it was decided to notify the homeowners located beyond the red line and to instruct the Land Use Control Department to dismantle unauthorized structures along the road and check the legality of construction at the address Dostuk, 11/1.

The reconstruction of Buurdinskaya Street, which is 1.2 kilometers long, is planned for 2026. The project includes the construction of a two-lane road, 2-meter wide sidewalks, and the renovation of a park.

Next, the mayor visited a kindergarten at 93 Kommunarova Street, where he checked the progress of the renovation work. The Capital Construction Department was instructed to avoid unjustified delays in contracts with contractors and to expedite the completion of work so that the facility could be put into operation as soon as possible.

At the meeting, Junushaliev emphasized the need to establish a unified approach to the use of high-quality construction materials at all social facilities for the effective application of successful solutions.

As part of the investment project, the mayor also visited the reconstructed wastewater treatment facilities, which cost $56 million. The commissioning includes two tanks and an automated control system, with a design capacity of 380,000 cubic meters per day. Junushaliev instructed to consider the possibility of increasing the capacity to 500,000 cubic meters.

At the end of the trip, the mayor reviewed the stages of construction of a sports and wellness complex in the "Maevka" residential area. Here he met with local residents who raised issues regarding the condition of street lighting, public transport operations, and the creation of bus stops. Local services were instructed to promptly address the identified problems.
