This was reported by the head of the department, Damir Kalykberdiev.
According to him, more than 30 facilities will be completely renovated, and 44 construction projects will be put into operation. Additionally, it is planned to complete another 36 projects in 2026.
In 2025, cost estimation documentation was prepared for more than 60 projects. The work was carried out in accordance with the plan approved by the Ministry of Construction.
Facilities that were fully completed and put into operation in 2025:
• 12 schools;
• 12 kindergartens;
• 3 clean water facilities;
• 12 capital repair facilities.
These social facilities are equipped with modern amenities and are aimed at meeting the needs of the population.
70 construction projects that began in 2025 but were not completed have been carried over to 2026. Currently, construction work is ongoing in 7 districts of the Osh Region. Due to weather conditions, outdoor work has been temporarily suspended, while indoor work in the buildings continues.
Construction ongoing by districts:
• Aksy District – 4 schools, 3 sports halls, 2 kindergartens, 1 hospital;
• Aravan District – 7 schools;
• Kara-Kulja District – 5 schools, 3 sports halls, 1 health post, 1 kindergarten;
• Kara-Suu District – 3 schools, 4 kindergartens, 2 sports halls, 1 music school;
• Nookat District – 4 schools, 3 kindergartens, 2 hospitals, 2 sports facilities;
• Uzgen District – 10 schools, 5 kindergartens, 1 health post, and other facilities;
• Chon-Alai District – 1 sports hall and 1 hospital;
Plans for 2026:
In 2026, it is planned to fully complete 36 construction projects, including:
• 13 schools;
• 8 kindergartens;
• 10 sports halls;
• 2 hospitals;
• 1 health post;
• 1 music educational institution.
Additionally, it is planned to carry out capital repairs on 12 facilities. Based on proposals received from the districts, the number of construction projects may increase.
“Emergency facilities and those in need of capital repairs have been fully accounted for, and design work is underway. Close cooperation is being maintained with the architectural and construction control department in this direction,” noted D. Kalykberdiev.
