The Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy has announced the launch of an open competition aimed at creating a logo and brand book dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Issyk-Kul Forum, named after the outstanding writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.

According to the information from the department's press service, the total prize fund amounts to 50,000 soms.

Participants in the competition can be artists and designers registered as individual entrepreneurs, possessing the relevant certificates and patents for conducting their activities.

“The created logo should embody the high goals and essence of the forum. The Issyk-Kul Forum serves as an international platform for intellectual discussions aimed at developing dialogue between various countries and peoples in the interest of achieving sustainable peace and supporting multipolarity, as well as a balanced approach to important decisions,” the press release states.

In 1986, the writer and thinker Chyngyz Aitmatov gathered the world’s intelligentsia on the shores of Issyk-Kul, thereby laying the foundations for discussing global issues against the backdrop of the end of the "Cold War" between the USSR and the West.

This year, the forum will continue the tradition of discussing topics related to civilizational dialogue, peacebuilding, and contemporary global challenges.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted until January 31. Full conditions can be found on the official website of the ministry.
