A project has been launched in the Kyrgyz Republic to develop digital skills among people with disabilities

A new educational project called "YouTube School" has been launched in the Kyrgyz Republic, implemented in collaboration between the republican institution for prosthetic and orthopedic products and the rehabilitation center for people with disabilities under the Ministry of Labor of the KR and the public association "Mümkünchülük."

The project is aimed at people with disabilities who are currently in the rehabilitation center, receiving prosthetics and orthopedic products, as well as undergoing treatment and adaptation in society.

The goal of this initiative is to teach digital skills, media literacy, and self-realization to participants using modern online platforms. During the training, they will learn the basics of working with YouTube, including content creation, video shooting and editing, as well as channel management, promotion on social media, and the development of personal branding and communication skills.

The first cohort of the course includes 16 participants, and upon completion of the training, they will receive certificates. The entire project plans to train 80 people with disabilities.
