However, soon the team faced a setback: goalkeeper Bekbolot Akmataliev received a red card for handling the ball in the center of the field, which led to a quick equalizing goal from the Iraqis - 1:1.
Before the end of the first half, the Iraqi team scored another goal, making the score 2:1. In the second half of the game, Kubanychov equalized with a powerful long-range shot - 2:2. Nevertheless, the Iraqis took the lead again, adding a third and fourth goal to their tally, allowing them to finish the match with a final score of 4:2.
