In Kyrgyzstan, under the leadership of President Sadyr Japarov, a new experimental approach to driver training is being introduced. As reported by Kanibek Tumanbaev, the president's chief of staff, cadets who demonstrate the best academic results will be able to take the driving test after just four months of training, significantly reducing the standard preparation time.
However, to obtain this privilege, it is necessary to demonstrate impeccable driving skills. Graduates of the "accelerated course" will receive temporary driver's licenses valid for one year. If during this time they do not commit serious violations or get involved in an accident, their licenses will become permanent. Otherwise, the license will be revoked, and the violator will be sent back to driving school to complete the remaining six months of training.
