The press service of the Jogorku Kenesh denied rumors about the possible resignation of speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu.
“Reports about the potential resignation of speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu have no basis.
The issue has not been discussed in the Jogorku Kenesh. The speaker is currently on an official visit to Turkey as part of a parliamentary delegation,” the press service stated.
It should be noted that earlier there were rumors about a possible replacement of the speaker with another candidate after his return to Kyrgyzstan, which came against the backdrop of information about the dismissal of the chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamybek Tashiev.
