Previously, Alisher Erbaev served as a deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh of the 7th convocation from the "Butun Kyrgyzstan" party and, before starting his political career, held various leadership positions in the GKNB, including the head of the Main Directorate.
It is also worth noting that on February 10, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting Chairman of the GKNB, and three deputy chairmen have been dismissed.
