
The topics of discussion concerned cooperation at the country and regional levels
On February 10, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as reported by the press service of the Kyrgyz leader.
During the conversation, the heads of the two states touched upon issues related to deepening and expanding bilateral relations based on friendship, good neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
The leaders noted the positive dynamics in trade turnover and progress in the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the Kambarata HPP-1.
In addition, the presidents discussed the current state of affairs in the region and joint initiatives that will be significant for both republics.
