According to information from sources in law enforcement agencies, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) is expected to undergo reform.
New changes will be implemented under the supervision of the new leadership. The main focus will be on strengthening special services in areas such as intelligence and counterintelligence, as well as combating terrorism and extremism.
We remind you that on February 10, President Sadyr Japarov made the decision to dismiss the chairman of the GKNB and his deputies.
Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov was appointed as the acting head of the special services.
In addition, the border service has once again become an independent structure, and a State Guard Service has been created, which will report directly to the president.
