President Sadyr Japarov stated that former head of the State National Security Committee Kamchybek Tashiev will not be returned to his previous position in government structures. In his interview with the publication "Kabar," he noted that he prefers to resolve conflicts peacefully.
“I always try to maintain friendly relations. Kamchybek will not be able to hold a government position; it’s better for him to rest and take care of his health. Over time, he will realize that this decision was correct,” Japarov added.
Speaking about Tashiev's close associates who are leaving their posts, the president noted that no one was forced to resign.
“I did not give any orders for dismissal. People should fulfill their duties and not interfere in politics. If someone decides to leave voluntarily, we will not hinder them. However, inspections in the ministries will be conducted, and if facts of corruption are revealed, those responsible will be punished,” he emphasized.
Japarov also warned against appointing relatives and friends to responsible positions, pointing out that such actions could create an atmosphere of impunity.
“If theft is proven, everyone will be held accountable, regardless of their position,” he stated.
Additionally, the president reported that he had a meeting with Kamchybek Tashiev the day before.
“I met with him last night and said: rest, take care of your health. He noted that some elders acted without his knowledge, and this was not beneficial. We will restore order; we have enough strength and resources for this,” concluded the head of state.
