Today, February 18, the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic made a decision to award deputy mandates to Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Kadyralieva.

In addition, the mandate will be transferred to Azizbek Abdullaev, who will take the place of Eldar Sulaymanov in district No. 5.

Sulaymanov submitted a statement for voluntary resignation from his powers, and the CEC unanimously approved his departure.

It should be noted that on November 30, 2025, extraordinary elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh took place. However, on December 3, the CEC canceled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to violations related to the installation of cameras by observers at polling stations, which undermined the secrecy of the ballot.

Repeat elections were scheduled for March 1, 2026, and 23 candidates registered.

On February 13, the Central Election Commission reviewed its previous decision regarding the results of the early elections in the multi-mandate district No. 13, annulled its previous ruling, and recognized the elections as valid. As a result, the deputies became Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova.

After this, a lawsuit was filed against the CEC regarding the illegality of canceling the repeat elections in district No. 13.
