At the meeting held on February 18, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh approved the candidacy of Bakytbek Satylganov for inclusion in the Council for Justice Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Introducing the new council member, Temirbek Ibraimov noted that Satylganov was born on May 1, 1970, has a higher legal education, and over 30 years of professional experience. In recent years, he served as a judge of the Sokuluk District Court in the Chui region.

Deputy Kamila Talieva asked whether Satylganov was replacing the former council member Elmira Baryktabasova.

In response, Ibraimov confirmed positively, clarifying that Baryktabasova is currently participating in a competition for a position as a Supreme Court judge.

“Why is a woman not being replaced by a woman? I ask you to take this into account next time,” Talieva commented.
