An important event took place at the "Friendship" stele
At the junction of the borders of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, a meeting of border guards was held. This was reported by the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event took place on Sunday, February 15.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed important aspects of cross-border cooperation, including improving communication mechanisms between border services, as well as coordinating actions to prevent incidents at the state border.
The participants focused on issues of interaction during engineering and economic activities, as well as spring field events in the border area. Algorithms for operational response to potential conflict situations were also discussed.
The parties agreed on the arrangement of the adjacent territory to the stele, as well as the creation of access roads to it on the designated sections of the border with joint greening of this area.
The constructive and productive nature of the discussions confirmed the countries' commitment to strengthening the state border regime, developing good-neighborly relations, and maintaining stability in border areas.
