Border services of the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan discussed current issues of cross-border cooperation.

On February 15, as part of strengthening trust-based relations and ensuring stability at the borders, a working meeting was held between the border services of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to information from the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, the event took place at the intersection point of the borders of the three countries, near the "Friendship" stele, within the area of responsibility of the border representatives.

During the discussion, the participants addressed important aspects of cross-border interaction, improving mechanisms for direct communication between border services, and coordinating actions to prevent incidents at the border.

Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in organizing engineering and economic activities in the border zone, as well as algorithms for operational response to potential disputes.

In addition, initiatives for landscaping the area around the "Friendship" stele were discussed, including the creation of access roads and joint greening projects on the designated sections of the border.

The meeting took place in a positive atmosphere, confirming the parties' readiness to further strengthen borders, develop good neighborly relations, and maintain peace in border areas.
