Public arrests and PR actions in the fight against crime and corruption are coming to an end in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the new leader of the GKNB, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, in an interview with VB.KG.
According to him, the agency is now following the directives of President Sadyr Japarov, focusing on professionalism and calmness in its work.
Shabdanbekov noted: "Special services should operate in secrecy, and the previous 'ideology of intimidation' is a thing of the past. We will concentrate on anti-corruption policy and ensuring the inevitability of punishment, avoiding unnecessary noise," he added.
